Welcome to APLA Health

Women Together

Women Together is a community partnership in LA County that was created just for women living with HIV. Women Together programs provide a safe space for conversations, peer support, and new friendships.

Women have been affected by HIV since the beginning of the epidemic and face unique challenges. Read more: CDC’s HIV and Women Fact Sheet.

The goal of the community partnership is to increase access to health resources and facilitate the development of social networks to reduce social isolation. The collaborative also fosters and builds connections among women with HIV and provides social support groups that are a safe space for conversations and building friendships.
